Heritage Portfolio| The Knole Collection

This range is based on the design of a pendant lamp that is part of the original decor at Knole Park – a fine example of English 17th-century country house, near Sevenoaks in Kent. The Knole chandelier of the 1670s represented a major departure from the earlier ‘baluster and ball’ fashion and incorporated an urn-shaped central baluster decorated with cherubs, a pineapple finial, and a graceful combination of angles and curves. Our range is the ideal choice for the classic English country house, grand mansion, farm or town house as its soft gleam of polished silver, gilt or brass provides a beautiful foil to the dark mellow tones of good ‘country’ furniture.
