Jamie’s Italian, Edinburgh

Continuing our successful collaboration with Jamie’s Italian and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio

Our work is a central feature at Jamie’s Italian restaurant in Edinburgh.

Interpreting Martin Brudnizki Design Studio concepts to produce over 30 chandeliers and wall lights that emulated a classic design with a utilitarian twist, the bespoke fittings were handmade in polished brass in our factory and include three fantastic chandeliers some 2m high.

Director of Martin Brudnizki Design Studio Dan Monk said: “We have previously worked with Dernier & Hamlyn on several occasions and know that we can rely on them for the highest quality of craftsmanship.

In common with many of our clients it was important that the lighting not only fulfilled its practical purpose and is a stunning addition to the restaurant, but is also a visual interpretation of the Jamie’s Italian brand.”

Dernier & Hamlyn’s joint managing director Jeremy Quantrill adds: “We love being involved in projects where, like us, the designers and the client are passionate about what they do. Jamie’s Italian in Edinburgh is set to be a great addition to this historic town so knowing that our expertise is adding to the pleasure that customers will get from dining there is great.”
