Offering creative cocktails, live music and light bites, Scarfes bar pays homage to the classic gentleman's club of Yore and is located in the ultra-luxury Rosewood hotel, London. Full of charming character and unexpected delights with roaring fires enjoyed by discerning clientele, Scarfes bar is rated one of the world’s best establishments.
The bars interiors draw on classic British design and culture and the recent refurbishment called for one of London’s top hospitality Interior Designers, Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, who realised the elegant yet vibrant ethos of the bar with truly marvelous Interior Design. When it came to bespoke lighting manufacture and design input, Dernier & Hamlyn were the natural choice for this renowned studio to partner with. Garrow Seal of Martin Brudnizki commented, “We have worked with Dernier & Hamlyn on many projects and continue to select them whenever we want the best quality bespoke lighting for high end hospitality clients. Their range of manufacturing skills and focus on producing the best possible solutions to our design briefs was evidenced yet again for Rosewood London’s lighting”
The bar features Dernier & Hamlyn crafted globe chandeliers, some 2m high that have been hand finished with a stunning verdigris effect. They are complemented by lamps with bronze bases and opal glass shades that add a further dimension to the wooden bar that runs the length of this convivial room. Garrow Seal of Martin Brudnizki Design complemented Dernier & Hamlyn’s creation and commented “both we and the client are delighted with the results”.
